Gemma Price Gallipoli-bound for Anzac Centenary

Cleveland District State High School student Gemma Price is one of 70 proud Queensland students that travelled to Gallipoli to take part in this year’s historic Anzac Centenary commemoration as winners of the Premier’s Anzac Prize.

Gemma was selected to take part in an extraordinary opportunity to tour Turkey, Belgium and France for two weeks from 22 April 2015.

The Premier’s Anzac Prize competition required students to produce a multimedia presentation exploring how the Anzac tradition has shaped Australia and how future generations can keep the tradition alive.

Queensland will celebrate the Anzac Centenary with a range of activities as outlined on www.qld.gov.au/Anzac100
