Member for Cleveland, Mark Robinson joined Cleveland-Thornlands Cricket Club on March 20 for their end of season Presentation Day.
Dr Robinson said it was great to be able to celebrate with players, coaches and volunteers at the end of their cricket season.
“The local sporting clubs of Redlands Hockey and Cleveland-Thornlands Cricket will soon see the benefit of a $100,000 Get Playing Places and Spaces grant, for the installation of new sports field lighting. The grant has been awarded to Redlands Hockey and will improve the lighting on the hockey fields and the adjacent cricket fields will also benefit from these new lights.”
“When the new lighting has been installed, it will provide greater flexibility for all teams and clubs in playing times and allow more Redlanders to be involved in their local sporting clubs,”
“It is great to see local clubs of Redlands Hockey and Cleveland-Thornlands Cricket Club working efficiently together and supporting the local sporting community,” Dr Robinson said.
